I was working on a post about using different photo effects in tools like GIMP and ImageMagick, and while going through my photos looking for ones to demonstrate the effects with I eventually wound up collecting some favorites and sharing them here. So yeah, below are some of my favorite photos that don’t contain any personal information. They cover a fairly long time frame (2009-present) so you’ll probably see a a lot of varying camera quality. Some have been edited, most just minor auto color adjustments in GIMP, and they’ve all been compressed as AVIF files to save space - going from ~850 MB to 70 MB with very little loss in quality.
